About EX Info

Who we are

EX Info is a small, editorially independent site that publishes descriptive research into VIP, loyalty and cashback programmes at offshore online casinos serving UK consumers. We do not operate a casino. We do not act as an affiliate for any operator. We do not accept placement fees for coverage. Our writing is informational and consumer-warning framed throughout.

The name EX Info reflects the informational purpose of the site. We deliberately avoid any suggestion of endorsement, aspiration or lifestyle framing in our coverage, because the subject matter touches on a segment of the market that concentrates significant consumer risk.

Editorial policy

Every article on this site is written to a consistent standard. Claims about tier structures, comp-point rates and cashback caps are checked against the operator's own published terms, cross-referenced with regulator statements where available, and re-verified before each substantive update. Where the evidence is thin, we say so; where an operator does not publish thresholds, we describe the fact of non-disclosure rather than inventing figures.

We do not review individual operator brands. That is a deliberate choice: an operator review, however carefully written, functions in practice as a marketing signal, and we consider that inappropriate for an audience where a meaningful share of readers have previously self-excluded through the UK's national self-exclusion register.

Research methodology

Coverage draws on four sources. Operator terms documents form the primary evidence base — the specific promotion terms, the loyalty programme terms and the standard account terms attached to each brand. Public regulator publications from the UK Gambling Commission and from offshore regulators including Curaçao's Gaming Control Board and Anjouan Offshore Gaming provide the regulatory context. Peer-reviewed academic research on gambling harm and retention behaviour supplies the behavioural framing. Publicly reported interviews with former retention staff and industry practitioners inform the sections on CRM mechanics.

We do not test operators by depositing at them. Our staff do not hold accounts at the operators discussed on this site. Any figure quoted in the tables on our pages reflects the operator's published disclosure at the time of writing rather than a personal experience of the programme.

Funding and independence

The site is funded by its owners. It does not carry advertising, does not use affiliate links to any casino brand, and does not accept sponsorship. Where we link externally, links are limited to a whitelist of authoritative sources: Wikipedia, UK legislation and government portals, OECD publications, and European Union information services. We do not link to individual operator sites and we do not link to the operator-help register itself (as text mention only, in line with our own editorial policy).

Author disclosure

All coverage on the site is written by Amelia Fitzgerald, our Loyalty Programme Researcher. Amelia examines VIP, loyalty and cashback programmes across offshore operators, mapping the fine-print behind headline rates and what triggers VIP-tier reviews. She writes under her own name, and her byline appears on every substantive page. Editorial decisions are her own and are not subject to influence from any operator.

Corrections and complaints

We take factual accuracy seriously. If a specific figure or claim on the site is out of date or incorrect, please write to us via the contact page and we will review and, where warranted, correct the article promptly. Corrections are logged in the article's revision history and reflected in the "last updated" date on the page.

Complaints about tone or framing are welcome and read. We will not necessarily change our editorial framing in response to a complaint from an operator, but we treat every serious representation seriously and reply to correspondence from consumers, regulators and academics.

Consumer position

Everything on this site is descriptive. Nothing is a recommendation to open an account, to deposit, to accept a bonus, or to move up a tier. If you are reading our coverage because you are considering play at an offshore operator and you have previously self-excluded through the UK's national self-exclusion register, we would ask you to close this tab and contact GamCare, Gordon Moody, the NHS National Gambling Clinic, BeGambleAware or GAM-Anon. Those services exist for exactly this reason, and they are free.
